 Unfortunately ffmpeg

Well the good point of this app is that it made me find out that my cheap hosted server does not have ffmpeg, so at least i learned to watch out that my next hosted webserver will feature this. I would hope for an ffmpeg-less version but i assume it is not technical possible?

Hi fronzelneekburm,

The video conversion depends on the FFmpeg encoder, there are other open source options to encode videos (like mencoder) but PHP don't encode videos by itself, you can search in the PECL directory, but as far as I know you always will need an encoder.
